Nocturne
Nocturne is a solo piano piece composed in the nineteenth century style. While the name may imply quiet solitude throughout, this number departs from that tradition. Beginning with a light and reflective melody somewhat reminiscent of Chopin or Tchaikowsky, it leads the listener on a spiritual journey into a turbulent middle section before returning quietly to its point of origin.
